1 Intel CoreDuo or AMD X2 64-bit dual core processors provides the latest technology for significant CPU speed while conserving power and lowering heat output (less risk of failure). For voice dictation software (Dragon or ViaVoice), please consider the fastest processor within budget and 2GB minimum memory.
2 Most business computers such as the Dell, HP and IBM/Lenovo come equipped ready to operate. Windows Remote Desktop (remote PC access from home or network computer) requires full-time internet connection (cable/Fios/DSL) and Windows XP Pro, XP Media Center, Vista/Windows7 Business or Vista/Windows7 Ultimate.
3 Any printer that works with Windows will suffice. Several models are listed which vary in print speed and durability. Ink Jet printers are more costly to operate but have a lower initial price and allow cost effective color printing.
